Privacy & analytics
A thoughtful approach
to your privacy.
Evening Reflections uses limited, privacy-conscious measurement to understand how the website is discovered and which stories and features are useful. Analytics is optional and does not load until you allow it.
What analytics measures
When you allow analytics, Google Analytics may measure page visits, general traffic sources, campaign links, landing pages, navigation, searches, approximate device information, audio starts and listening milestones, and progress through the subscription journey.
What is not sent to analytics
Evening Reflections does not send your name, email address, contact message, subscription form contents, or other information you type into a form to Google Analytics. The site also filters analytics parameters that resemble email addresses or phone numbers.
Your choice
Analytics is declined by default. If you allow it, the site stores your choice in your browser and loads Google Analytics. If you decline, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded and no analytics data is transmitted. You can change your choice at any time on this page.
Advertising and data sharing
Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled. Evening Reflections does not currently use analytics for personalized advertising or remarketing. Optional Google data-sharing settings are disabled except for technical-support access when needed.
Forms
If you subscribe or send a contact message, the information you provide is used to respond to your request or deliver Evening Reflections communications. Form submissions are handled separately from analytics and are not included in analytics events.
Google Analytics
Google describes how it safeguards Analytics data and uses cookies and identifiers in its Analytics privacy information. You may also review Google’s Privacy Policy.
Updates and questions
This notice may be updated as the website and its measurement practices change. Questions about privacy may be sent through the contact page.
